This fort-palace on the edge of Rajasthan was built in the 15th century and it's a fascinating place to stay. Today it's part of India's Neemrana group of heritage hotels. Forget it if you want a western-style hotel experience you might not like this weekend getaway but I love the fact that it's not a western hotel. I think it is thankfully a very unique and beautiful place to go. Every room is different and the best way to describe the decor is eclectic/rustic/Indian/ethnic!
